Design is a true vocation for Alias, even in the choice of its designers,
who today are wellknown international names, from different generations and
with different training and provenance: Giandomenico Belotti, Mario Botta,
Carlo Forcolini, Alberto Meda, Paolo Rizzatto, Riccardo Blumer, Jasper
Morrison, Alfredo Häberli, Tamar Ben David. Over the years, the company has
established an excellent special working relationship with each of these
names, and the Alias natural inclination towards experimentation has
fostered in every project the development of each designer’s own particular
qualities. The international success of the Alias brand is based on the
on-going work of the company in developing creative research and product
quality, the latest technology and solid production capacity, communication
image, marketing intuition and estensive distribution experience. Since 2001
Alias has been part of the Cassina group, which was recently bought out by
Poltrona Frau, which has strengthened the position of the brand in the
Italian and international sphere, increasing its prospects in coherence with
Alias choices that have always been directed at high quality made in Italy
design production.
An industrial structure based on extensive experience, Alias, together with its staff, has also been able to foster the on-going development of its production sector.
