Specifications: DB Fletcher Capstan Tables
Tables can be of any style and of any suitable material, and are exclusively
designed for each commission. Materials used may be any species of timber; even
marble, glass or metal. Carving, gilding or inlay work undertaken. Any finish
can be applied – from traditional French polish, to modern two-pack sprayed
systems. Lighting can be provided. Operation is entirely automatic and is
electronically controlled.
LIGHTWEIGHT MATERIALS ARE NOW EMPLOYED WHEREVER POSSIBLE Table tops are aluminium honeycomb or foam cored constructed, not only for the saving of weight but also for exceptional strength and rigidity. Mechanism parts, formerly predominately stainless steel, now employ lightweight materials (but still marine grade) wherever possible.
EXPANSION RATIO The expansion of area is 73% from small to large. Other variations are possible, such as:
- 2032 to 2671 mm (80 to 105 inches)
- 1750 to 2300 mm (69 to 91 inches)
- 1676 to 2203 mm. (66 to 87 inches)
- 1372 to 1803 mm (54 to 71 inches)
- 1141 to 1500 mm (45 to 59 inches)

States of America. Tables supplied from Britain are subject to Value Added Tax
at 17.5% unless exported from the European Union. The average price of a table
is between £25,000 and £35,000 ($49,700 and $69,600). Each commission is
individually priced.
