Frischeis is a supplier for wood and wood materials carpenters, joiners and
the wood-processing industry and the DIY sector. The company was established
in 1948 by Josef and Antonia Frischeis as Handel für Holz- und Brennstoffe
J.u.A. Frischeis in Stockerau. As of 1959 the company expanded rapidly
throughout Austria, and in 1991 we opened our first foreign branch in
Leipzig/Germany. Today Frischeis is Central Europe's leading supplier for
wood and wood materials. Our ever expanding company has in may 2008 a
network of 52 locations (four of them are planned) in 14 countries and
ensures the reliable provision of high-grade raw materials and semi-finished
products for commercial and industrial customers. We sell the products of
leading European manufacturers, complemented by overseas imports. We have an
extensive range in the product groups boards/wood materials, plywood,
construction elements, sawn timber and veneers.
