• Jordan's to sponsor Cape Cod All-Star game

Jordan's Furniture said today that it will be the title sponsor of the Cape Cod League All-Star Game at Fenway Park July 29.

In a press release, the furniture store chain noted that it has been a Boston Red Sox sponsor for more than four years, and suggested that the Cape Cod League All-Star Game is a "family friendly event" that fits well with its marketing efforts.
The All-Star Game will feature a pre-game Home Run Derby, autograph session with the All-Stars, and a silent auction filled with baseball memorabilia," Jordan's said. Discounted concession items will also be available. Tickets are all general admission and priced at $10 a ticket, Jordan's Furniture said. Information about buying tickets can be found at this Web page. Tickets are also available at any Cape game, with the added incentive of a $100 Jordan’s coupon with each pair purchased at a Cape game, Jordan's said.
In a statement, Jordan's furniture president and chief executive Eliot Tatelman said: “We are excited to add another tier to our partnership with the Red Sox and with Fenway Park through this sponsorship of the Cape League All-Star Game. So many New Englanders visiting the Cape over the summer have a chance to experience true family baseball by attending League games held throughout the Cape. The Cape Cod All-Star Game at Fenway is a culmination of the season and a great day at Fenway for both families attending and players on the field.”

Jordan's recently announced that said it is launching its latest Red Sox promotion by bringing back last year's "Monster Hit," which could result in customers winning free furniture if a Sox player hits the Jordan's sign on Fenway Park's centerfield wall during the second half of the season.
With its corporate office and distribution center in Taunton, Jordan's is a four-store chain with retail locations in Reading, Avon, Natick, and Nashua.
