• The China International Furniture Fair (CIFF) To Introduce Four New Furniture Sections

The China International Furniture Fair reported that the first phase of the 31st China International Furniture Fair (Guangzhou) (CIFF) will be held on March 18-21, 2013, covering four vertical shows including CIFF-Home Furniture, Outdoor & Leisure China, Homedecor & Housewares China and Intertextile Guangzhou-Hometextile China.

More than 1600 quality suppliers are expected to come to show their fresh productions, designs and service. CIFF-Home Furniture will make use of 23 halls of China Import & Export Complex in the Area A and B with the key themes of Modern Furniture and Classical Furniture. The professional suppliers and top furniture brands will continue to display the leading collections of home furniture in various styles.

This year, CIFF-Home Furniture show has plans to establish four new sectors.

    • International Hall for overseas modern furniture brands (at Hall 1.1 & 2.1)
    • Kids & Teens Furniture Zone (Hall 3.1)
    • Customized Furniture Zone (Hall 2.1)
    • Neo-Chinese & Mahogany Furniture Zone(Hall 11.3).

Quality brands from over 20 countries and regions will take part in the International Hall. Included will be exhibits from Italy, USA, France, Germany, Portugal, Australia and Denmark. World-class luxury furniture brands such as Versace Home, Roberto Cavalli, Thomasville and Maitland smith will debut in the CIFF show to exploit the global market.

    Kids & Teens Furniture Zone

CIFF has set up the Kids & Teens Furniture Zone for the first time with a scale of 10,000 SQM (90,000 sq. ft.), which will bring together strong brands such as X.M.B., Yours and Kingtinto and provide buyers with new opportunities.

    Customized Furniture Zone

The one-stop designing and purchasing model is brand-new for buyers attending the CIFF show. Companies showing in this section include Qumei, Uyork, Wayes and Dacheng.

    Neo-Chinese & Mahogany Furniture Zone

Unlike the other three new sectors, Neo-Chinese & Mahogany Furniture Zone will display classical furniture. This new zone will introduce representative high-end brands such as Hongguxuan, Taixing (Xuanhongfang, Yumingju) and Hongda Yipinju from China’s key industrial bases from both the north and south China of the precious varieties of the traditional mahogany furniture.
