I have read a blog that as anyone would often say properly decorated living room is having a cozy and expensive furniture but aside from that lighting it would make the room perfect. And as a bit meticulous when it comes to home decorating, I believe that lighting does really a big factor so anybody could help me where I could find brilliant lighting for my living room.

Before drawing up a wish-list of your precise lighting requirements, it is important to plan and one of the key issues is assessing the amount of natural daylight the room receives, what aspect it is, whether north or south-facing, or otherwise &ndash as this will determine light levels during the seasons and thus affect the type of light the room needs.

If you buy primarily contemporary furniture and furnishings, your home will be best suited by modern home lighting, including minimalist chandeliers, simple lamps and elegant sconces. Complement a more eclectic style with vintage-inspired lighting fixtures, such as Tiffany-style torchiere lamps and elaborate chandeliers. Modern home lighting can also work well with a laid-back decorating style.
