What color to paint a Kitchen?

Well, I have a boring house! All the walls are white and its driving me crazy! My kitchen has a white tile floor, white walls, wood cupboards, wood table, a few brown tiles over the sink, and white appliances, i.e. fridge, stove and microwave. I need ideas for what colors to paint it. Something nice not too out going but not plain and boring. Please help!
