How should i decorate my room?

My husband and i just moved into a 5 bedroom house with some of our coworkers. our walls are white and we have an amazing dark cherry wood bedroom suit its brown and we are wondering how we should decorate our room...bedding, room decor, etc. we were thinking blue, yellow, and green....just wanna see what everyone else thinks
