Chemical Substance or any material of neutral or synthetic origin is referred to as fertilizers. It contains the byproduct of naturally occurring plants or animal-based material, which can be classified as animal manure and composted organic material.

Fertilizers can be classified into different types, which conclude Inorganic Fertilizers and Organic Fertilizers:
Inorganic fertilizers contain nutrient elements for the growth of crops, and these fertilizers are made by chemical means, which can be categorized as Phosphorus fertilizers and Nitrogen fertilizers.

Organic Fertilizers are naturally obtained from plants or animals, and they also enrich the essential carbon compounds required for plant growth. These fertilizers also increase the organic contents in soils and also change the soil chemical properties. They are essential for the plant's nutrients.

Organic farming in India is in a nascent stage. A large acre of farmland area is used under Organic Cultivation in India. While farming, people use pest controls derived from organic manure, including animal or plant waste, which also reduces the environmental suffering caused by chemicals such as pesticides and synthetic fertilizers. Organic farming in India is a new system of agriculture that has improved the ecological balance by using biodegradable organic inputs like green manures, cow dung, etc.

Organic farming and soil health are maintained by using measures to avoid fungus on plants. To kill and prevent the growth of fungus and their spores on plants, we use pesticides known as Plants Fungicide. Organic farming and soil health go parallel to the green health of crops.

Concerns that should be followed while using fungicides:

  • To identify the fungal disease in plants, contact the local county extension office, as they may recommend a treatment or strategy to stop or prevent the same.
  • Keep the plant leaves dry in order to avoid disease transmission through leaves; also, air circulation can be used to keep leaves dry.
  • As many fungicides remain on the surface of plant tissues and do not spread throughout the plant so use clean tools
  • Learn about garden sanitation to prevent spreading fungal pathogens yourself.

Organic seeds are used by organic farmers, which involve those seeds which cannot be genetically manipulated or modified, and these are all-natural. Many organic farming companies in India support small farmers' livelihoods by providing them with a high secure price of their crops with respect to industrial farming. Organic farming companies in India provide a more economically viable form of agriculture.

Advantages of Organic Fertilizers:

Organic fertilizers are easy to use in comparison to Inorganic fertilizers

If we talk about organic fertilizers, then it is more easy to use as compared to chemical or inorganic fertilizers. It is because you can simply add the organic fertilizers to the soil or spray them on the leaves of the plant. There are several benefits that biofertilizers offer to the plants, environment and also to the humans. It offers plants all the nutrients that are essential for them to grow in a better way. But if you are using chemical fertilizers, then it is important for you to be careful as it can be hazardous for the plant as well as for you and animals.

Organic fertilizers are good for the soil

Using organic fertilizers or biofertilizers for the soil is the best thing that you can use. It is because, with the use of chemical fertilizers, the microorganism in the soil gets killed, and for the fertility of the soil, it is important to have those microorganisms. But on the other hand, if you are using organic fertilizers, then it will help the plants to grow and will keep the fertility of your soil. If the fertility of the soil will be good, then you will be able to grow more crops, and that will be of high-quality.

Conclusion

Organic Farming is an integrated farming system that strives for sustainability and enhancement of soil fertility and biological diversity and prohibits synthetic pesticides and fertilizers. Thus the shift towards organic farming should not be "so rapid and so slow" that it will hit both sides of the development but must be in equilibrium with the race. Hence organic farming is often considered to be more economically sustainable for farm workers and agricultural growth of farmers and should be widely supported and adopted.
