Unfortunately, wood doesn't last forever. Table legs and chair backs break. Bedpost gets lost in storage. Feet on an antique dresser disintegrate with time. Matching spindles on a stairway banister are needed for an addition. Porch columns rot and need replacing. Perhaps the beautiful cherry highboy you are building calls for turned and fluted finials.

Wood Hollow specializes in making one or two copies of chair legs, table legs, bed posts, spindles, finials, and columns for antique repair and home restoration. Custom furniture and cabinet makers and home builders also use our turnings.

Often, "custom" woodturning houses have large minimum orders or require setup fees to produce a pattern for their automated lathes. Frankly, it is just not worth their while to make one or two of an item.

At Wood Hollow there is no setup charge, no minimum order. We often turn samples for approval before committing to a final design.
