During the mid-late 80’s, Gunnar began the manufacturing of commercial office furniture. Through the 1990’s, Gunnar evolved to be one of the premier high quality office furniture manufacturers in Canada. Gunnar offers several lines of furniture, including: executive veneer offices, unique ergonomic workstations, custom boardroom and meeting room tables, customized reception furnishings, Movable Wall partitions and systems furniture. With an AutoCAD department, design team, sales force and manufacturing plant all in-house, Gunnar personnel are able to work with their clients to create an office environment that will suit their furniture needs and budgetary requirements. The customer (or their designated interior designer) has input on a vast array of colors, fabrics, veneers, laminates and decorative hardware making the process a customized experience for every client. Utilizing our “Customized Assembly Line” Gunnar is capable of producing large quantities of product, while retaining the ability to fine-tune each order to the exact requirements of the end user. The fact that we only sell our products through Gunnar salespeople and do not go through dealers ensures that the customer receives complete Gunnar customer care and attention direct from the manufacturer.

The past few years have seen Gunnar achieve tremendous growth. In 2004, Gunnar completed building a new facility adjacent to the existing plant, which brings its square footage to over 130,000 sq ft.
