Dartbrook Rustic Goods is the third generation of an Adirondack furniture making business dating back to 1920. We are proud to feature the largest selection of authentic rustic furniture and home furnishings in the North Country. Our store and workshop are located in the heart of the Adirondack High Peaks in beautiful Keene, New York. Our makers, George Jaques, Chris Cross, Ted Keenan, Kay Kowanko and Jay Haws, are nationally recognized for their skill and artistry in creating one-of-a-kind rustic pieces.

In our workshop we craft local timbers, antique barnwood, bark, tree roots, twigs and antlers into furniture that is not only beautiful but highly functional and extremely durable. Our furniture harkens back to the "Great Camp" style of the late 1800's and embodies the soul of the Adirondack wilderness.

Using time-honored woodworking techniques, we design and build tables, cabinets, cupboards, breakfronts, desks, dressers, chairs, beds, bathroom vanities, kitchen islands, bookcases, lamps and more. Our pieces are renowned for their superb finishes, perfect fit and exquisite scale. We carefully kiln dry our wood onsite, use only the finest hardware and painstakingly apply our proprietary finishing techniques. Our pieces are individually numbered and cataloged. Our work graces many fine homes across the United States, Canada and Europe and is featured in numerous books, catalogs and national magazines.

Our store also features a wide assortment of upholstered sofas and chairs, rustic antiques, lighting fixtures, one-of-a kind carpets, original artwork and taxidermy.

We are located in the old Keene General Store building on Route 73 at the junction with Route 9N in beautiful downtown Keene, New York. We are 15 minutes from Lake Placid and 20 minutes from Exit 30 of the Northway Route 87 next to the Dartbrook Lodge.
