The pub design and the timbers used were based on the briefing for a stylish corporate bar that was to be designed so that it could be moved to another building and placed against a rear wall with seating on all sides. All timbers and veneers were Mahogany which was stained to match other furniture in the room. The Bar was a “U” shaped design and had 45 degree returns to both ends of the front of the bar. The Bar top and front serving shelf were made from solid Mahogany.

The entrance to the bar had a flap and door. A Serving shelf, 600mm in depth, was installed below the main Bar top. Mahogany veneers were used for the divisions of the displays and the internal structure of the cupboards. Display and cupboards were installed against the rear wall.

Panelling with shelves was installed to either side of the display units. The displays had silver mirrors and had 10mm glass shelves.

A timber boxed footrest with steel tubing was installed around the bar. In order to meet the client requirement of moving the bar with seating available all-round the bar, the main Counter, frontage to the bar and the timber boxed footrest was returned along the left hand wall.
